My Teaching: From Data to Digital Citizenship
Most of the year, I teach at the University at Albany, offering undergraduate and graduate courses in in-person, online, and hybrid formats.
At the Massry School of Business, I teach in the Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics, where my courses focus on how information technology, data management, databases, SQL, and predictive analytics support organizational strategy and solve business problems.
I am also affiliated with the Department of Information Sciences and Technology / Informatics at the College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity, where I teach courses in digital citizenship and academic writing. From time to time, I also branch out as a visiting professor and guest instructor at other academic institutions, including programs in New York City and Israel. I am always open to meaningful teaching collaborations, workshops, guest lectures, and interdisciplinary course development. For collaborations, please contact me at ndvir@albany.edu.
